About the Role
As a Communications Assistant, you will work closely with the Communications Managers and Officers to support a wide range of communications, marketing, and digital engagement activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing social media channels
Creating engaging content across multiple platforms
Assisting with internal and external newsletters
Updating website and intranet information
Key Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
HND or equivalent qualification
Previous experience in a communications, marketing, or information role
Proficiency in social media management
Strong writing and proofreading skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Confidentiality and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
Time management and organisational skills
Desirable Skills
Experience in producing audio, video, and photography
Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Power BI
Strong administrative and forward-planning abilities
Experience handling data and record-keeping
Additional Information
This role is based at our Dundee office, but we support agile working and remote work options. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, with flexibility as needed.
