About the role
Exciting opportunity to join the External Affairs and Media team as Communications Advisor – Social Media, where you will be part of a small, dynamic and creative team that supports the strategic objectives of the University by managing RMIT’s public presence across all major social media platforms.
With a focus on amplifying research, thought leadership and student life, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the organisation to develop best practice digital content and provide expert advice backed by insights and analytics.
With a view to helping protect and position the RMIT brand, you will also support social listening and community management, helping to identify and manage potential reputational risks and compliance requirements.

About the Portfolio
The International and Engagement portfolio is responsible for RMIT’s international strategy and agenda, including international development and partnerships and oversight of our international operations including RMIT Vietnam and RMIT Europe.
