Working as part of our Intelligence team, a Communications Data Investigator is an essential role, supporting investigating officers for serious and organised crime and developing strategies to achieve the desired operational outcome and protect people from harm.
If you are calm under pressure, able to gather information quickly, and have a keen eye for detail, then Warwickshire needs you.
You will become an accredited Single Point of Contact (SPoC), qualified to facilitate and obtain the lawful acquisition of communications data - such as from Social Media providers - for Warwickshire Police criminal investigations.
You will develop the expertise and knowledge to provide strategic and tactical advice to Senior Officers, help us to find missing persons, prevent and detect crime, and locate wanted individuals.
The role has a requirement to join the 24/7 on-call rota (working from home) to support emergency situations, with additional payments given for this and an enhanced overtime rate. The role requires attendance at our Headquarters in Leek Wootton, however benefits from flexible working agreements and elements of home working.
