Commodity Managers | Newton Aycliffe/Doncaster/London (Ludgate) | Hybrid

Commodity Managers or experienced Buyers from a manufacturing environment required to manage and oversee the Procurement activities for a £500million Rolling Stock manufacturing project, as well as the procurement of goods and services to support ongoing MSA (Rolling Stock) and TSA (Service and Maintenance) requirements.

There will be a requirement to travel at short notice, both domestic and international.

This is a complex Rolling Stock project with additional projects lined up over the next 2-3 years so promises to be an interesting challenge.

The Candidate:
  1. Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (Essential)
  2. Strong analytical and decision-making skills (Essential)
  3. Proven negotiation capabilities (Essential)
  4. Ability to work in a project environment (Essential)
  5. Strong team collaboration skills (Essential)
  6. Proficient in SAP / Excel (Essential)
  7. Ability to manage performance review with internal and external stakeholders (Essential)
Qualifications:

CIPS Level 4 or above, or IOSCM qualification.
