About the team:
This position sits within the Global Markets Division (MARK) of SOCIETE GENERALE. You will join the engineering department in London which brings together, under one umbrella, the Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies and Commodities structuring capabilities with the objective of providing investors with integrated multi-asset market solutions.

Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:
• Research, develop and implement systematic strategies in an index format in cooperation with the relevant Business Lines, focusing on commodity underlyings, according to the following objectives:
• Maximization of profitability (P&L MARK associated with products linked to systematic strategies),
• Robustness and sustainability of the risk return profile
• Build portfolios of systematic strategies with a specific investment objective
• Provide all the necessary information to the governance team (ISP).
• Push the QIS offer proactively (internal communication, push to sales team, client meetings).
• Provide necessary technical support and training to sales, pricing and trading teams.

Responsibilities:
• Research, develop and implement new systematic strategies by backtesting new ideas primarily on commodities.
• Support EMEA sales in client calls and events related to systematic strategies and ensure the smooth management of requests.
• Work closely with the origination team to coordinate the push and promote systematic strategies internally and externally.
• Maintain smooth communication with the ISP team (governance team) and ensure compliance with processes.
• Contribute to supporting the Casablanca staff on systematic strategies maintenance subjects.
• Ensure fluid and transparent information flow between Paris, London, and New York on commercial and development projects.

Work Experience:
Previous experience in quantitative investment strategies structuring.

Education:
Graduate from a top university with a Master's degree preferred.

Languages:
English
French desirable.
