Job description

We are looking for a part-time Commis Pastry Chef to be responsible for assisting in the crafting of delicious desserts and confectionery, as well as savoury items and pastry-based delicacies. You should be passionate about baking and hard-working. To be successful in this role, you must be well-versed in the culinary arts and adhere to strict standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Pastry Chef Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting the Head Baker with the operating and management of the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment.
  2. Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
  3. Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections by following a set recipe.
  4. Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.

Pastry Chef Requirements:

  1. 3 or more years in the industry.
  2. Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
  3. In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
  4. Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.

There will be 3 stages: Interview | Reference Check | Trial. Thank you.

Schedule: 6am - 3pm
Salary: from £12 hourly
