Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our culinary team. As a Commis Chef at Angus Steakhouse, you will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes, supporting our chefs and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen. If you have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to menu specifications and standards
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Help monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain smooth and efficient operations
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for food
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
