Job description

About the role

At a glance

Salary range - For this role the salary starts from £31,500 to £42,700 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

From 1st April 2025 this will increase to £31,500 to £44,200 per annum.

Please note this role will attract an additional payment for shift premium of 25% of the base rate (£7,875).

Overtime is featured but not guaranteed.

Contract type - This is a Permanent role.

Work Pattern - 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday: 14:00-22:00

Location - Bracknell, Central Transport

About the role

  • Efficiently and effectively undertake refinishing and prepping of Partnership vehicles.
  • Prepare panels to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Application and paint spraying of a variety of vehicles including Home delivery vans, HGV units, Trailers etc.
  • Maintain a safe working practice that complies with current safety and Partnership regulations.
  • To ensure that high quality repairs are carried out in a cost effective manner.
  • Assistance & guidance from team leaders.
  • To account for your own time, be efficient and motivated when working within the workshop.
  • To work as part of the team and assist others where needed.

Qualifications and Experience skills you’ll need

  • City & Guilds 2 or 3 Vehicle damage paint technician level or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Desirable skills

  • Previous experience of commercial vehicle painting.
  • LGV C+E driving licence.
