About the Role:

As an Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in underwriting commercial insurance risks, negotiating rates, terms, and conditions for both new and existing business.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

1. Deliver a compliant and excellent service to all clients throughout their relationship with the company.
2. Collaborate effectively with your team to meet personal and team targets for volume, income, and quality metrics.
3. Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations.

About You:

We are looking for candidates who possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will have:

1. A background in the Commercial Insurance industry.
2. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or a desire to work towards them.
3. Strong customer service abilities, with a professional telephone manner and the capability to engage clients effectively.
4. Proven multitasking skills and experience with system updates.
