The Role:
As a Commercial Technology & Data Protection Partner, you will:

1. Lead and expand the Birmingham commercial technology and data protection practice, setting strategic direction and driving growth.
2. Provide expert legal advice on matters including IT contracts, outsourcing, data protection compliance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects across a range of private sectors including distribution, logistics and manufacturing.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.
4. Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to support cross-disciplinary and cross-border initiatives.
5. Drive business development efforts, leveraging your network and expertise to attract and retain high-value clients.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience at partner level in commercial technology and/or data protection law, with a proven track record of success.
2. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
3. Exceptional client relationship management and communication abilities.
4. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to business development.
5. Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
