A medium sized law firm with a completely remote working ethos is looking for a solicitor to join them on an ongoing basis. They are ideally seeking a commercial solicitor to work as a consultant on a part-time basis. The firm specializes in one sector (medical), but the work is split along conventional lines, and specific sector experience is not necessary. Experience dealing with the medical sector and relevant contracts is very welcome. Exposure to partnership type structures (GP practices in particular) and NHS contracts would be very useful.

There is a requirement for a minimum commitment of 7-10 hours per week, but they can discuss longer - 2-3 days per week is quite possible. Good hourly rates are paid.

Although the firm operates remotely, they like to maintain a team ethos within the business, so they gather all their consultants for meetings and social events in the London or Surrey area. This is a good opportunity to add additional work to a portfolio if you have existing work elsewhere. It is important to specify that this role requires a long-term commitment - this is ongoing work. Evidence of a strong background in a Legal 100 firm setting or equivalent in-house or similar is also needed.
