Job Summary:
The Commercial Solar Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and closing commercial solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the solar energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive commercial solar sales growth.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients, including commercial property owners, businesses, and developers.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide clients with tailored solar solutions.
  • Present and explain solar proposals, financial benefits, and return on investment (ROI) to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and government incentives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client communications in the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (but not required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the solar, renewable energy, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, financing options, and incentives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
