If you are an experienced insurance sales leader with a passion for motivating teams and driving performance, our client is looking for a New Business Team Leader to oversee and inspire a team of Commercial Account Executives. Ensuring a high-energy, high-performance culture, you will thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy leading by example as well as mentoring and managing a team.
Some Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
Lead and manage a team of Commercial Insurance Account Executives, driving sales performance and ensuring targets are met.
Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings to provide support, coaching, and identify areas for development.
Contribute to achieving sales targets by actively converting leads and generating revenue.
Monitor and report on team and individual performance to senior management.
Deliver ongoing training and upskilling on sales techniques and product knowledge.
Allocate and oversee lead management within the system, ensuring all opportunities are actioned.
Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, GDPR, and industry best practices.
Build strong relationships across the team, with clients, and insurers.
Key skills and experience:
Proven experience in a Team Leader role within the insurance sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads.
Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.
Knowledge of commercial insurance products and market conditions
Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about delivering results.
