About this role:
A varied role for a Property Manager or Estates Manager who will lead on acquisitions and disposals as well as share responsibility for the portfolio management of the West Midlands Police's estate. Internally at WMP, this role is known as Estates Officer.
Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be part of the team providing professional property management support for the Force's estate. In particular, you will be responsible for professional advice and guidance in support of all property management activity including strategic project work. You will be experienced in managing competing deadlines across multiple projects with exceptional prioritisation and organisation.
Whilst this is an agile role, there is the expectation of some travel to various sites across the West Midlands.
Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
