Job description

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing SME firm in the property management sector. They are seeking a Property Manager to manage a diverse property portfolio, ensuring operational excellence and providing top-notch service to tenants and clients. If you are looking for a fast-paced, flexible working environment, this is your chance to make a real impact within an expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, overseeing daily operations.
  2. Take responsibility for service charge budgets, ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords, addressing and resolving queries and issues.
  4. Coordinate maintenance and repairs, working with contractors and service providers.
  5. Prepare and review reports, budgets, and financial statements related to service charges.
  6. Ensure properties comply with all relevant legislation, including health and safety and building regulations.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in property management, ideally with exposure to service charge budgets.
  2. Strong understanding of financial management and service charge processes.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  5. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  6. Familiarity with property legislation and best practices.
  7. Experience in an SME environment is desirable, but not essential.
