Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, overseeing daily operations.
- Take responsibility for service charge budgets, ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords, addressing and resolving queries and issues.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, working with contractors and service providers.
- Prepare and review reports, budgets, and financial statements related to service charges.
- Ensure properties comply with all relevant legislation, including health and safety and building regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property management, ideally with exposure to service charge budgets.
- Strong understanding of financial management and service charge processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with property legislation and best practices.
- Experience in an SME environment is desirable, but not essential.
