Job description

Locum Commercial Contract Lawyer – Full or Part Time – Remote – Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is assisting a Local Authority in their search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal department. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including grant agreements
  • Advising on all aspects of commercial contracts to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies
  • Providing clear, solutions-focused legal advice to key stakeholders within the Local Authority

Role Details:

  • Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension
  • Working Arrangements: Full Time or Part Time, Hybrid working available
  • Rate: Up to £60 per hour (via umbrella)
