We’re looking for a Commercial Projects Manager to join Liberty Blume Energy in either our London or Bradford sites.

We operate a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days based from the office.

We are hiring and developing great people who are passionate about the changing energy landscape and who are interested in building an integrated business combining service, funding, procurement and delivery.

You will lead new product and partner development projects integrating energy service, physical asset delivery and asset financing. You will work across the broader Liberty organisation and with third party organisations as part of a dynamic and growing team within Liberty Blume.

Counterparties will include senior stakeholders within LG and its Operating Companies, representatives of multinational banks and energy supply businesses, as well as small to medium-sized service delivery providers.

What will you be doing?

Energy is a stated focus for LG’s growth, which we have backed with investments in domestic and commercial installation businesses supporting the growth of renewable energy and vehicle electrification.

Liberty Blume builds on that commitment by adding Energy, Finance and Insurance to our existing portfolio of commercial business services in Liberty Shared Services.

Priorities for the Blume Energy team include:

1. Development of new wholesale energy products
2. Entering the market for corporate energy brokerage and technical support
3. Delivering value to LG Operating Companies in the UK and across Europe
4. Testing and rolling out new financed solutions
5. Development of routes to delivery of services to non-LG businesses

LFS is expected to deliver rapid growth and members of the team are expected to contribute to debate and strategy development as well as to solution delivery.

We tend to look for people with:

Several years of progressive experience in project management, demonstrating:

1. Responsibility for business decisions
2. Supplier relationship management
3. New contract negotiation
4. Project management leading to on-time, on-budget delivery

A well-defined project management approach:

1. Adaptability – knowledge of the selection and application of different project management tools (e.g. planning, tracking, issue resolution) to different project applications
2. Results orientation – demonstrated success in anticipating and overcoming delivery challenges
3. Commercial management – experience of contract negotiation and management, negotiation and resolution of commercial issues

A degree level education (or equivalent)
