Commercial Excellence Project Manager - Eastleigh - Hybrid - £60 - 75k plus benefits.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Commercial Excellence Project Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients commercial strategy. Working with the Managing Director and Sales Directors, you will be instrumental in guiding key strategic initiatives, optimizing our clients go-to-market approach, enhancing sales processes, expanding our clients wallet share, and developing our clients product lines. This is a high-impact role offering significant exposure and the chance to contribute directly to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Initiative Leadership: Drive and manage critical commercial projects from inception to successful completion, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  2. Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with the MD and Sales Directors to develop and refine effective go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and services.
  3. Sales Process Optimization: Analyse current sales processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined and efficient methodologies to enhance sales effectiveness.
  4. Wallet Share Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to increase our share of existing customer spend, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  5. Product Line Development Support: Work collaboratively with product teams and sales leadership to inform and support the development of new and existing product lines based on market analysis and customer needs.
  6. Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with various departments, including marketing, product, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
  8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse results, and provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on the progress of strategic initiatives.
  9. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and manage expectations with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in for strategic projects.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in a commercial strategy/excellence, project management, or business development role.
  2. A strong understanding of commercial principles, sales processes, and go-to-market strategies.
  3. Demonstrated success in managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  5. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build rapport and trust.
  7. A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong drive to achieve targets.
