Commercial Pricing Analyst (with French)

Location: London

Company Profile:
A global shipping company providing logistic services to a variety of industries.

Main Duties:

  1. To analyse market composition and manage quotes and tariffs for commercial shipping.

The Role:

  1. To respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner and maintain strong customer relations.
  2. To manage pricing and provide quotations to clients in line with demand and market rate levels.
  3. To conduct market research and monitor competitor pricing to ensure tariffs and tenders are profitable yet competitive.
  4. To support with developing new business with new and existing clients.
  5. To liaise with customers and colleagues within the network to ensure smooth client experience.
  6. To visit clients internationally, when required.

Candidate's Profile:

  1. Experience in an administrative role within commercial shipping and/or freight forwarding industry – Essential.
  2. Fluent in French to business standard (written and spoken) – Beneficial.
  3. Previous experience in commercial pricing and tender management – Beneficial.
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proactive, confident and dynamic personality.
  6. Excellent communication skills and a team player.
  7. IT literate.

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
