The role of the Commercial Manager Glazing Systems will involve:

• Building, managing, and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, engineers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
• Coordinating estimating, sales, and installation for each project
• Providing handovers to the installation team and monitoring commercial elements until complete
• Qualifying and approving suppliers and sub-contractors to maintain high-quality standards
• Managing job costing throughout each project from design to completion and producing regular financial reports
• Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Commercial Manager Glazing Systems with:

• A background as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within the construction industry
• Experience with glazing systems or a technical related product background such as: secondary glazing, windows, window hardware, architectural glazing, glazing, windows & doors
• An outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team
• A minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in a construction-related field
• IT literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Commercial awareness, excellent numeracy, and literacy skills
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
