Job Description

Our Client is a well-respected, large Main Contractor, who due to its continuing success in work winning, is looking to augment its commercial teams with the appointment of a Commercial Manager. This contractor's workload is varied, mixing new build, refurbishment, D&B, and negotiated projects in Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Residential.

The role involves overseeing the commercial activities on a number of projects, each with their own QS presence. The size and complexity of the projects determine the number of sites supervised.

The candidate will have a background in quantity surveying, gained in a main contracting environment, with a strong knowledge of the North West construction market. The candidate will ideally have a good understanding of mentoring quantity surveyors and commercial staff to support their career development.
