Commercial Manager

Job Description

A brand new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join our key client in Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will have around 10 years' experience in a similar role ideally working for an Engineering or Manufacturing Company previously. This would suit a candidate in a Commercial or Proposals Manager role looking for a new challenge!

Key Responsibilities:

1. The Commercial Manager will be taking commercial responsibility for project forecasting, proposals, pricing and cost analysis of projects.
2. Liaise with customers and cross functional teams including sales, project teams, design and manufacturing to put together proposals and undertake all internal pricing and margin analysis to then feedback to the customer.
3. Work alongside the Finance Director with company budget forecasting and sales forecasts.

Key Attributes:

1. The Commercial Manager will need to be highly numerate with a technical background.
2. An Accountancy/Finance Qualification would be an advantage to understand the financial fundamentals but experience in a similar role is essential.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and cross functional teams.
