Commercial Manager

Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be responsible for delivery of commercial aspects of projects, contracts and proposals and ensure commercial delivery.
  2. Is timely and accurate - supports Bilfinger's financial timetable and internal and client reporting requirements.
  3. Optimises profitability - evidenced by improvements in margins of projects against budget.
  4. Evaluates and manages risk, value and variations to optimise commercial performance - evidence includes risk logs and effective risk/value management plans.
  5. Produces cost reports to support project performance reporting, management accounting and valuation activities.
  6. Minimise company's liabilities by providing support and advice to project teams in respect of contractual obligations, notices and remedies.
  7. Manage valuation, application and invoicing process and the review and certification processes of subcontractor accounts.
  8. Manage compilation of management accounts and forecasts.
  9. Ensure commercial processes and procedures adhered to.
