Our client, a leading player in the infrastructure and energy sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization delivering high-value projects across infrastructure, renewables, utilities, and power.

As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing commercial operations, ensuring project profitability, and providing strategic input on commercial decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial activities on large-scale infrastructure, renewables, utilities, and power projects.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control to optimize project profitability.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage key stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide risk management strategies and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Support the delivery teams by offering commercial guidance and reporting on project performance.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and drive value engineering initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or power sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract management (e.g., NEC, FIDIC) and procurement strategies.
  • Excellent financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial reporting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing commercial teams.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field (MRICS desirable).
