Legal Counsel (Commercial)

Retail

£60-62,000

Yorkshire

Hybrid working 3 days a week in office 2 from home

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a Retail organisation based in Yorkshire with a Legal Counsel position permanently.

As the Legal Counsel, you will be;

• Undertaking a range of commercial contracts with a focus on B2C contracts, IT Contracts (SAAS), NDAs, standard terms, and manufacturing agreements
• Assisting the procurement team with queries and contract terms and termination
• Assisting with drafting and implementing policies and procedures and ensuring contracts are kept up to date, streamlining processes where required
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements for the business
• Assisting with consumer claims as and when required
• Data Protection matters

As the Legal Counsel, you will have;

• Experience working within the Retail sector or for retail clients in private practice however experience working with IT Contracts and consumer law would also be advantageous in an in-house setting
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across the Group and have an ambition for growth within the group
• Candidates who have an interest in AI or experience working with AI would also be advantageous
