Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Lead in Corporate Services to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the transformation of NHSBT’s Commercial function. You will collaborate with a team of commercial experts specialising in corporate services, working with some of the world's leading global and health technology suppliers to ensure we maximise the value of our significant investments.
You will be passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across Commercial as well as the wider NHS Blood and Transplant organisation. You will collaborate and engage with programmes and colleagues across all levels, providing sound advice and influencing commercial outcomes and strategies. You will contribute towards increasing savings for NHSBT, driving quality and value for NHSBT.
You will be part of a team that is at the forefront of collaboratively harnessing the power of the marketplace and delivering maximum value to our healthcare system.
You will lead, actively engage, and collaborate with stakeholders including other public sector bodies to embed the Commercial strategy.
Main Duties
In this role you will be responsible for delivering a pipeline of procurements, primarily in the corporate category. Your responsibilities will include:

This vacancy will close at 23:59 on Sunday 27 th April 2025.
If shortlisted, you will be required to attend the Government Commercial Function assessment centre (ADC). This will be a one-day process on Wednesday 14 th May 2025 and further guidance on this is attached.
Interviews are anticipated to be held week of 26 th May, after the ADC assessment subject to confirmation.
