Salary: Up to £35,000 D.O.E

Location: 2 days per week in the office

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Our client is seeking a professional Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team in Glasgow. The role involves managing new and existing business, focusing on SME and Mid market risks, and collaborating closely with the branch director. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including engineers, manufacturers, care homes, retailers, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage new and existing business for SME and Mid market risks
2. Collaborate closely with the branch director
3. Work with a diverse range of clients, including engineers, manufacturers, care homes, retailers, etc.
4. Provide quotations, renewals, MTA's, policy issue, etc.
5. Build relationships with insurers.
6. Act as first point of contact for clients.

EXPERIENCE

1. Proven experience in commercial insurance, either from an insurer or broker background
2. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products within SME and Mid market.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Progression towards CII exams preferred but not essential.

DAY-TO-DAY

1. You will be responsible for managing new and existing business, collaborating with the branch director, and working with a diverse range of clients.
