Commercial Insurance Broker

You will be joining a specialist general insurance broker with over 40 years of client-driven service. They provide innovative insurance coverage for the UK construction sector and associated industries such as Groundworks, Civil Engineering, Earthworks, Plant Hire, Waste & Recycling, and Demolition.

Based in Rocester, Staffordshire, the Key Account Broker will sit within a small team dedicated to clients with more complex risks and higher premiums.

You will provide a complete client service for a designated portfolio of clients. This includes managing the renewal process and any mid-term adjustments, claims handling, market broking, in addition to giving guidance and support throughout the year. You will work closely with key clients, and this will incorporate visits.

What you need to show

1. At least 3 years of experience in commercial insurance.
2. Experience with a broker is preferred, but those with an underwriting background will be considered.
3. Ability to build rapport and develop relationships.
4. Confident negotiation skills.
5. Pro-active, flexible, and committed approach.
