Drive Strategic Growth & Continuous Improvement within our Vet Business at Pets at Home

About the Role

We’re looking for a Commercial Improvement Lead to play a key role in driving strategic opportunities, transformation and commercial excellence across our vet business. Working closely with the Head of Commercial Improvement, you’ll analyse data, identify trends and drive initiatives that enhance profitability and operational efficiency in a clinical setting.

This role offers hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire (two days per week required in the office).

Key responsibilities will include;

• Partnering with the Head of Commercial Improvement to deliver key projects and commercial efficiencies
• Analysing financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue and profitability growth
• Working cross-functionally to improve ways of working and drive continuous improvement
• Ensuring robust commercial controls are in place to manage risk and enhance business reputation
• Providing data-driven insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to foster a culture of trust, accountability and innovation
• Supporting financial forecasting, performance analysis and commercial operational improvements

About You

• Strong financial or accountancy experience, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Commercially astute, with an understanding of internal and external market influences
• Ability to extract actionable insights from data and drive business growth
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• A strategic mindset, focused on delivering results and continuous improvement
