Location: Sussex and home counties
Salary: GBP40,000 per year, plus call outs
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Commercial Heating Wet Worker role to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Heating Wet Worker:

1. Analyse faults/issues and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair, using saws and pipe cutters as necessary.
2. Adhere to the highest H&S standards at all times, complying with company H&S procedures.
3. Write reports documenting any faults and a summary of actions taken.
4. Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts.
5. Isolate and cap radiators/valves when found to be leaking.
6. Replace/install radiators and ancillary pipework where required.
7. Replace/install 2 and 3 port control valves and immersions, wiring the controls accordingly.
8. Replace/install cylinders, thermal stores, tanks and ancillary equipment.
9. Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services.
10. Replace/repair pipework, tap stats, isolation valves and mechanical plant where required.
11. Always deliver the highest level of customer care, exceeding service delivery expectations and delivering The Perfect Repair.
12. Complete and maintain site logs (written and electronic).
13. Responsive callouts associated with heating/hot water systems, delivering a high level of first-time fix.

Requirements of the Commercial Heating Wet Worker:

1. Must have min Level 2 NVQ plumbing.
2. Must have experience in plant rooms & commercial systems.
3. Must have experience with HIU's.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
5. Good listening skills and strong verbal communication skills.
6. Must be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
