Job description

My client is a rapidly evolving family‐owned engineering company based in Manchester servicing clients across the UK.


We are looking to recruit an experienced and established mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our service team.


They have been trading for over 30 years and are consistently growing & expanding in all areas of the business, particularly in our bespoke Technical Services Department.


The role will be based in and around the area you live, not in Manchester as this is our head office, and we have groups of various engineers based throughout the UK.


As an established engineer you should possess the following:
  1. NVQ level 2 & 3 in service & maintenance (preferable)
  2. Commercial N Gas safety - required
  3. Commercial Pipework - required
  4. Commercial plant - required
  5. Electrical experience preferable
  6. Must have installation skills
  7. Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required
  8. Good communication skills
  9. Motivated to work on industry-leading equipment

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Responding to service calls
  2. Test, service and repair a wide variety of equipment throughout the UK Fault Finding
  3. Offering advice and technical support to customers
  4. Reporting directly to the Service Manager

In return, they offer a competitive basic salary (dependent on experience) as well as the following:

  1. 40 hours per week with overtime available
