Job Description

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join and strengthen our client's team.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (overtime available), across Boldon and the North East.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer your duties and responsibilities will be around Commercial Heating Controls and Installation. As such, you will:

Carry out maintenance inspections, repairs and servicing of commercial plant room equipment
Attend reactive, diagnostic and repair calls to commercial gas appliances and plant
Complete associated commercial gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements
Participate in an emergency call out rota system

To be successful within this position, you will be a Gas Safe Registered Engineer with 3 years commercial gas experience, whilst having the following skills, traits, and experience:

Commercial Gas: 2 years
Licence/Certification: OFTEC and COMCAT qualifications are highly desirable
Minimum of 12 months remaining on ACS qualifications
Driving Licence
