Location: North-West London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Overtime + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-call rota)

About the Role

Valoris Group Limited is hiring for a commercial gas engineer on behalf of a well-established mechanical and electrical services provider. The company operates across public and private sectors, delivering installations, maintenance, and emergency response services.

This role involves servicing and maintaining commercial gas systems, working within a strong technical team, and handling a variety of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating systems and plant rooms.
2. Conduct servicing, inspections, and repairs on commercial boilers.
3. Diagnose and repair faults, including gas leaks, interlocks, and BMS-controlled systems.
4. Complete small works and plumbing installations for heating systems.
5. Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and industry standards.
6. Work collaboratively with electrical and BMS teams.
7. Produce detailed service reports via PDA.
8. Respond to emergency breakdowns as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Gas Safe Registered
2. ACS Certifications: CoDNCO1, CIGA1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CCN1
3. Water Regulations 1999 & Water Byelaws
4. Additional certifications such as CORT1 and ICPN1 are desirable

Experience & Skills:

1. Minimum five years of experience in servicing and maintaining commercial gas systems.
2. Strong knowledge of boilers ranging from 65kW to 6MW capacity.
3. Familiarity with BMS controls and interlock systems.
4. Ability to diagnose faults independently.
5. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
