Job Role: Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: HMP Littlehey- Littlehey, Prison Crow, Spinney Lane, West Perry, PE28 0SR

Salary: £41,818.21

Contract: Full time/Perm

We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Combustion to join our team at HMP Littlehey, a Category C prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Engineer - Combustion with any combination of:

  1. Two years experience working in a role as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent
  2. Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
  3. Must be familiar with and able to work to Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry Standards
  4. Experience of working with commercial catering gas appliances would be beneficial
  5. Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  6. CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units
  7. COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units
  8. Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  9. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
