A leading M&E Contractor are currently looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding Facilities Management team based in Dartford, Kent.
The company delivers M&E services across the London and Home Counties area to a wide range of clients and businesses, including restaurants, commercial offices, retail stores, hospitals and schools.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and installations for gas and commercial heating systems at various commercial sites.
As the Commercial Gas Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
Attend client sites to conduct reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, PPM and installation of gas/plumbing work and associated pipework.
Accurately complete job documentation and liaise with the service desk.
Completing daily maintenance and PPM paperwork, issuing notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
Meeting first-time fix targets.
Adhere to Health & Safety standards.
Focusing on customer satisfaction.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members alike.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Hold commercial gas ACS qualifications.
Other certifications including OFTEC, IPAF and PASMA are an advantage.
Strong experience in gas and plumbing maintenance, repair and installation.
Knowledge of commercial plant controls.
Ability to carry out diagnostic fault finding to boilers, water heaters and warm air.
Ability to complete small installations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Independent problem solver.
Full UK driving licence.
