Commercial Gas Engineer - Facilities Management - Central Belt

FM Search & Select Ltd are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer specializing in maintenance within the facilities management sector in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating systems, boilers, and gas appliances across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in boilers, heating systems, and gas appliances in accordance with industry standards.
3. Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety Regulations and health & safety guidelines.
4. Conduct gas safety inspections, issue reports, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
5. Work across a variety of commercial sites, including offices, retail, healthcare, and educational facilities.
6. Provide emergency breakdown support and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Maintain accurate service records and complete all necessary documentation.
8. Liaise with clients, site managers, and FM teams to provide excellent customer service.
9. Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Commercial Gas Qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, CDGA1).
2. Experience in facilities management and working across multiple commercial sites.
3. Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and compliance.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
6. A valid UK driving license (if a mobile role).
