Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer required in the Gloucestershire area for an M&E Contractor, who have been going from strength-to-strength since their inception over 32 years ago. The client offers Mechanical & Electrical services to a variety of clients.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be tasked with inspection, service, maintenance, breakdown & installation on Large Commercial Boilers, Commercial Appliances, Air Handling Units & Domestic equipment in Commercial sites. The Commercial Gas Engineer should be based within a commutable distance of the Gloucestershire region & will be happy with regional travel to Bristol, Swindon, Worcester etc.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will hold a U.K. Driving Licence & will hold valid ACS Commercial tickets, with experience carrying out servicing and repair works on commercial heating systems.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Requirements

1. COCN1/CODNCO1-Commercial, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1
2. Experience carrying out servicing and repair of commercial heating systems.
3. Full UK Driving Licence
4. Live within a commutable distance of Gloucestershire

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

1. Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
2. Working hours 7:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday
3. Travel time - paid after 30 mins of travel to sites outside of a 15 miles radius from the office
4. No mandatory on call rota
5. Discretionary bonus scheme - based on company performance
6. Long service holiday scheme - 21 days plus bank holidays standard, additional days accrued at 3, 5, 10 and 20 years up to a total of 25 days plus bank holidays.
7. Company vehicle - can be used for personal mileage but this must be declared to HMRC and private miles will be charged at government recommended rate.
