Job Description

Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer to join and strengthen our client's team.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (overtime available), throughout the North East of England.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will be around Commercial Heating Controls and Installation. As such, you will:

Carry out maintenance inspections, repairs, and servicing of commercial plant room equipment.
Attend reactive, diagnostic, and repair calls to commercial gas appliances and plant.
Complete associated commercial gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements.
Participate in an emergency call-out rota system.

To be successful within this position, you will ideally be COMCAT's 1, 3 & 5 qualified, and competent to work on all types of equipment that can be found in a commercial kitchen and food servery area, as well as being competent to work with all makes and types of gas & electrical commercial catering appliances.

Commercial gas pipe work experience would also be advantageous.
Driving Licence is required.

Combined with a competitive salary depending on experience, you will benefit from a company van, 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), double time on bank holidays, Sundays, and after 12 on Saturdays.
