Job Description

Position: Commercial Finance Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus & excellent benefits

Morgan McKinley is proud to be working in partnership with an established and highly dynamic business to recruit a commercial-minded Accountant who can business partner with senior stakeholders, directors, and the CFO to grow a key market for the organisation. They are keen to recruit a highly skilled accountant who is eager to partner with the Senior Leadership Team to provide support and constructive challenge to drive operational outputs and improve financial performance.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide analysis and insight into the operations performance, identify areas of improvement, and drive outputs.
Work in partnership with the operations teams to prepare budgets and forecasts, along with variance reporting.
Build and design in-depth costing processes.
Own the month-end close.
Assess cost drivers and their impact on performance.

Profile:

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or in the final stage of their studies.
Strong communication skills - able to push back AND support stakeholders.
High degree of commercial acumen.
Strong Excel knowledge.
Solid experience across variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Results-oriented, with a desire to succeed.
