Your new company
Our client is a leading, growing manufacturer, with a strong international presence.

Your new role
As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a new Commercial Controller. This role primarily focuses on standard costing and FP&A. You will collaborate closely with operational teams, leading and driving process improvements to achieve and surpass company goals. Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop cost models, working with operations.
  • Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction.
  • Manage month-end closing and analyze financial results.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports for executives.
  • Lead the finance team in creating reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and SOX regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and inventory analysis.
  • Support special projects.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will hold ACA, ACCA, or the CIMA qualification and possess extensive commercial finance experience in global settings, ideally within matrix organizations. A solid grasp and recent experience of manufacturing processes is essential. Key competencies should include standard costing, financial planning and analysis, and business partnering. You should be able to confidently collaborate with operations, offering guidance and leadership on financial matters. Essential attributes include flexibility, self-motivation, goal orientation, being task-driven, and being a team player.
