This role reports onsite in our London office full time.

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a talented and driven Commercial Finance Analyst to join our dynamic FP&A and Commercial Finance Team. In this role, you will collaborate with commercial heads of department to provide critical financial insights across various revenue streams, with a particular focus on Consumer Products and Experiences as well as Brand Partnerships. This position offers a highly varied workload, demanding a flexible mindset to navigate tasks ranging from administrative duties and data-driven analysis to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will:

1. Support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and wider commercial team where needed most
2. Business Partner to the commercial teams
3. Prepare and deliver weekly reports to the Senior Management Team
4. Conduct detailed financial analyses on actual performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
5. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting in conjunction with the business heads, as well as updating weekly revenue reports
6. Support the accounting team to ensure a smooth flow on invoicing and cash flow and identifying credit risk areas
7. Generate commission reports for agents and produce consistent, accurate reporting
8. Support strategic initiatives, and produce business models when required
9. Take ownership of ad hoc projects as they arise

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. 1–3 years of experience in a commercial finance role
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
4. Familiarity with core finance and accounting principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
6. Good time management and multitasking capabilities
7. Meticulous attention to detail and a 'completer-finisher' mindset
8. Analytical thinking, with creative problem-solving abilities and a commercial focus

Desired Skills and Experience (Optional):

1. Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or planning to commence these studies imminently
2. Media industry experience
3. Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite
