Commercial Finance Analyst

JSS are delighted to be partnering a leading, employer of choice, based in South Hertfordshire/North London. We are recruiting a newly created Commercial Finance Analyst position which be responsible for monthly performance analysis, summarising performance, the story behind the numbers to management. This role will work closely with various departments on cost savings initiatives and various projects with scope to add real value including improving processes and reporting. This is an ideal role for for a recently qualified commercial Finance Analyst.

The Role:

The Commercial Finance Analyst role based in Hertfordshire will be responsible for the following:

• Own the month end, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting summarising the story behind the numbers
• Production of the management reporting packs highlighting risks and opportunities
• Summarise and explain month end performance to a variety of stakeholders
• Financial control and balance sheet reconciliations
• Work closely with FP&A and the wider finance team
• Financial modelling to assess options/provide recommendations to management
• Assist with process improvements across finance
• Ad-hoc analysis, reporting and financial support as required

Profile:

We are looking for a commercially focussed candidate with the following experience and skillset:

-ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or Finalist level

-Experienced business partner to internal stakeholders on performance, costs/cost savings and variances to budget

-Experienced in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering

-Experience partnering Sales or Marketing is an advantage

-Good Excel Modelling & PowerPoint ability to present financial information

-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

-Ability to improve/simplify processes

On Offer:

This Commercial Finance Analyst role offers a salary of circa £55,000-65,000, plus bonus, benefits, hybrid working and the opportunity to work for an employer of choice.
