Commercial Finance Analyst - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG
Salary £35-£40k dependent on experience - Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our storesThis is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times.
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
ResponsibilitiesThe Commercial Finance Analyst has responsibility for supporting the Commercial Finance Managers in providing insight and reporting to the Buying, Ecomm and Supply Chain team to support current and future trading decisions. Where appropriate and relevant, the role will also support key strategic projects. As a member of the Commercial Finance team, you will be expected to drive improvements in the quality, timeliness, and insight of reporting generated by the team.
Accountabilities- Reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Seasonal reporting and insight
- Pricing modeling, comparisons and insights
- Data Integrity
- Process Improvement
Qualifications, Training / Experience- Graduate calibre working towards an Accountancy qualification.
- Business partnering experience essential, retail exposure desirable but not essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel. Experience of data analysis tools (Targit) would be beneficial.
- Must be someone who is driven by results, commercially successful and experienced in contributing through collaboration with all other functions, with the aim of continuously improving performance.
