Job description

My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute, ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a high-growth, fast-paced division, driving strategic decision-making and providing financial insights that support the growth of their products and services.

Hybrid: 2-days in office, 3-days WFH
Permanent & full-time role
£45,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities:
  1. Automate trading reporting and create dashboards to provide key commercial insights.
  2. Support the creation and maintenance of P&L rolling forecast models.
  3. Analyse P&L and trading performance vs. forecast and prior years.
  4. Present/communicate key insights coherently to the senior leadership team.
  5. Work with different teams across the group, utilising strong communication and people skills.
  6. Validate and distribute commercial information within the business on a timely basis.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Excellent excel data extraction, transformation and modelling skills.
  2. Experience with SQL, Power BI/Power Query, Tableau, or similar programs.
  3. Ability to handle large amounts of data - extracting data from source, manipulating data to build reports/dashboards.
  4. Experience of budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
  5. A finance qualification (or part qualification) (CIMA / ACA or ACCA).
  6. High level of accuracy and a strong eye for detail.
