As a Commercial Executive for DELI-LITES you will provide support to the commercial team and assist the Head of Commercial with customer onboarding, forecasting, systems compliance and project communication in line with the company objectives.

You will be passionate about delivering results through targeted projects.

In addition, you will have attention to detail and strong organisational skills and work closely with our Head of Commercial. You will be responsible for managing the flow of communication, both internally and externally, to all key stakeholders to support our customers and to deliver our annual sales budgets.

Your Duties:

  • Management and utilisation of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to manage the existing customer base and as an added value marketing tool (to include the maintenance of up-to-date customer price files, terms and conditions of trading and key contacts)
  • Responsible for coordinating the provision of accurate customer forecasts to the business and strive to continuously improve the level of forecasting accuracy across the business.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial to carry out regular, internal reviews to ensure the continuous removal of slow selling and poor margin SKUs, along with ensuring the streamlining of SKUS where appropriate
  • Assist in the compiling of commercial tenders, for both existing and prospective customers, that represent potential incremental sales to the business
  • Support the onboarding process of new customers into the business.
  • Complete new line forms for any SKUs introduced into the business, ensuring that key stakeholders are aware of the key, relevant, details.
  • Collect, prepare and distribute monthly relevant commercial reports, presentations and other correspondence as needed
  • Support tasting trials, trade shows and other key events as required
  • Support the organisation of customer meetings and visits (including with the assistance to complete any post visit contact reports)
  • Carry out regular competitor price benchmarking
  • Source relevant market data and research current market pricing for target Product Categories
  • As appropriate, attend customer meetings to enhance relationships.
  • Hold regular meetings with the company PR team/ Marketing to ensure correct calendar of social media posts in line with commercial plans.
  • Support our customer care approach, and the company’s approach to premium quality standards, via prompt customer feedback to the business (attending the daily operations meeting as appropriate)

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Third level qualification or minimum 3 years FMCG successful track record
  • A successful track record in an FMCG commercial role is desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on revenue generation and profitability.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Full-time position with travel to client locations or industry events.
  • Standard working hours, with flexibility required based on business needs.
  • Fluent in English and have up to date working visa.
