Great opportunity for a Surveyor at the early stages of their career to join a well-capitalized and expanding property investor in Manchester! Working as part of a small but close-knit team, you will be exposed to excellent opportunities across both day-to-day and strategic asset management, under the close supervision of the Property Director who is eager to share his expertise and experience.

Overview of the Role

• Working across a NW based portfolio, predominantly offices, oversee all aspects of the property management including overseeing new lettings, applications for assignment, service charge enquiries, tenant liaison, legal matters, and rental disputes.
• When opportunities present, explore possible surrender and regears with occupiers.
• Oversee external commercial agents and agree head of terms with new tenants.
• Lead on rent reviews and lease renewals, appointing and overseeing external specialists as and when required.
• Work alongside the Property Director when development and investment opportunities present themselves, which might be in keeping with the company's investment strategy.

Your Experience and Skills

• You will have a strong background in commercial property management and appreciation for landlord and tenant negotiations.
• You will have overseen the management of service charges, and ideally, service charge contractors.
• You have reached a point in your career where you are ready for the next challenge and seek more autonomy and opportunity to grow your career.
• You will need to be independent and adaptable; willing to take on new responsibilities and see this as an opportunity to develop within the company.
