COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR - AI & Digital Solutions

As we continue to expand our digital and AI-driven offerings, we are seeking an exceptional Commercial Director – AI & Digital Solutions to take full ownership of MAGNIFY, our proprietary AI-powered tool revolutionising engagement across our engineering portfolio.

This is a hybrid role, with three in-office days primarily in Dartford with travel to the Herne Hill office as and when required.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to lead the commercial strategy for MAGNIFY, positioning it as a must-have solution within the market. You will be responsible for driving revenue, scaling adoption, and leading a high-performing team of six. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of AI-driven commercial solutions at Mark Allen.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong track record in digital commercial growth, relationship-building, solution selling, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the commercial success of MAGNIFY, overseeing its market positioning, sales strategy, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a high-impact AI and digital sales strategy, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the engineering sector and beyond.
  • Lead and support a team of six, fostering a results-driven, high-performance culture.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and industry leaders, demonstrating the value of AI-powered digital solutions and driving long-term partnerships.
  • Stay ahead of market trends in AI, digital media, and B2B engagement, ensuring MAGNIFY remains a competitive and evolving product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and editorial, to refine and enhance our digital offerings.

  • A strong, proven track record of success in AI, digital sales, or SaaS commercial leadership, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of AI-driven B2B solutions and the ability to translate complex digital products into commercial success.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of driving growth and positioning a product as a market leader.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to influence at all levels.
