A Commercial Leadership Role with Real Impact

This isn’t just another commercial leadership position—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of specialist care. We’re looking for a Commercial Director with a deep understanding of the healthcare sector, particularly within Adult Social Care or Supported Living, who can drive growth, sustainability, and market expansion.

With a £50m+ turnover and a workforce of 1,100+ employees, this organisation is well-established but poised for its next phase of growth. Backed by private investment, the focus is on expanding services, enhancing commercial viability, and strengthening commissioner relationships. The role reports directly to the CEO and sits at Executive Level, offering genuine strategic influence.

What’s on Offer:
  • Salary of £100,000 - £110,000, plus bonus, plus equity, reflecting the importance of this role to the organisation’s future.
  • The opportunity to shape strategy at executive level within a growing and values-led provider.
  • A collaborative, ambitious leadership team who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
  • A role with real purpose, where commercial success directly enables better outcomes for people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement commercial strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Strengthen and expand commissioner relationships, ensuring long-term funding and occupancy stability.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including potential acquisitions and service expansions.
  • Ensure commercial sustainability through effective contract negotiation and pricing strategy.
  • Oversee branding, marketing, and positioning, ensuring the organisation stands out in a competitive market.
  • Use financial and operational data to inform commercial decisions and long-term planning.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing commercial team, fostering innovation and accountability.
  • Provide strategic commercial insight at Board level, influencing long-term organisational direction.
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive commercial leadership experience in healthcare, with a strong preference for those with Adult Social Care or Supported Living expertise.
  • Proven ability to navigate funding models, commissioner relationships, and contracting.
  • A track record of driving revenue growth and commercial transformation in a values-led environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and financial acumen, with the ability to balance business objectives with high-quality service delivery.
  • Influential and adaptable leadership style, capable of managing diverse stakeholders and negotiating at a senior level.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly growing healthcare organisation.
