Description & Background

At Hinkley Point C nuclear site, located in West Somerset, we are seeking a Commercial Director to join our Hinkley Point C operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Director (HPC), the Commercial Director is responsible for overseeing commercial activities and ensuring the financial viability of operations.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and lead commercial negotiations and contract management.
2. Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability.
3. Collaborate with project teams to align commercial objectives with operational goals.
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
5. Prepare and present reports on commercial performance to senior management.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably within the energy or construction sector.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions.
4. Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
